Island is about 140 km south east of Melbourne & is the home of the
world famous Penguin Parade & Motorcycle & Car racing events.

San
Remo is the road entrance to Phillip Island on the eastern side
of Western Port. Until a suspension bridge was built in 1940 visitors used
ferries to access to Phillip Island. It was replaced with a concrete
bridge in 1969.

Remo is a fully operational fishing village & includes motels,
restaurants & a shopping centre. Visitors can enjoy ocean fishing
charters & maritime tours.

Churchill
Island just off the Coast of Phillip Island is a piece of Victoria’s
agricultural heritage. The tiny island is open to the public as an
historic working farm & boasts wetlands, ancient trees, heritage
gardens & historic buildings.

Cowes
is the main township of Phillip Island & is located on the north coast
with road access Newhaven or ferry from Stony Point on the Mornington
Peninsula.
Cowes
beautiful beaches overlook French Island & the Mornington Peninsula.
The area has shops, restaurants, cafes, motels, camping grounds &
shops.

Newhaven
on the south side of Phillip Island is a small fishing village with a
jetty, boat ramp & marina. Along with a caravan park, motels, bed
& breakfasts, shops, restaurants & a supermarket. The Phillip
Island Information Centre & Phillip Island Airport are located west
of Newhaven.

Rhyll
has an all-tide boat ramp, two jetties, yacht club, angling club &
sailing school. Other services available are boat hire, general store, restaurant &
accommodation.
