Victoria's
second-largest city, Geelong has a population of more than 210,000. Its
only an hour's drive from Melbourne & the gateway to the Great Ocean Road.

The city's Waterfront features many cafes
&
restaurants, restored art deco seawater baths, a yacht club & a bayside promenade.

The region changed
forever once white settlement started in the early 1800s. Today, there
are many ways of gaining a glimpse into the region's sometimes turbulent
& raucous past.

Geelong has a long
& colourful history. Its original inhabitants were members of
various clans of the Wathaurong tribe who had inhabited the region for
more than 25,000 years before white explorers arrived.

Geelong's founders
have left a legacy of beautiful parks & gardens close to the city
centre. They are wonderful places where you can relax & enjoy
tranquil surroundings all year.
