Roswell is most popularly known for the 1947 Roswell UFO incident including a UFO museum on main street & a UFO festival.

Roswell is a central location for a variety of interesting day trips including the White Sand test site & it space museum. The Carlsbad Caverns are an amazing underground experience. A day trip to the town of Lincoln will take you back to the home of Billy the Kid.
