South Australian Migration Museum

The migration museum is a free museum just at the top of the Adelaide CBD ( close to other galleries & museums.

It tells the history of the people who came to adelaide from england & around the world.
The building itself has a dark history as a facility for homeless people
They have series of standard displays & some short term exhibits. There is a place where you can see how the old white australia policy was enforced by getting people to take a test in a language they had never heard of.
