Edinburgh has been the capital of Scotland since 1437 & is the home of the Scottish Parliament. It is Scotland's second largest city after Glasgow.

The New Town was created in the 18th century due to the increasing population of Edinburgh. The New Town is considered one of the finest examples of Georgian architecture in the world.
