Christchurch -  the Garden City - is located midway along the East Coast of the South Island of New Zealand.

Established 150 years ago Christchurch was a vibrant city with exciting festivals, theatre, art galleries & many attractions. 

The earthquakes have changed this but they have also revealed a fantastic community spirit that everyone knew was there just below the surface. 

Christchurch is damaged & parts of history are gone but a new city will rise. People who have visited the old Christchurch in the past are welcome to come visit the new version as Christchurch pulls up its socks & rebuilds for the future.
