Halifax is Nova Scotia's capital & the biggest city of Atlantic Canada's four provinces. Located by one of the largest natural harbors in the world & it is less than two hours by air from New York & Toronto.

In 1995 the municipalities of Dartmouth, Bedford, & Halifax amalgamated to became officially known as the Halifax Regional Municipality (HRM)

Dartmouth is a quiet community across the harbor from Halifax is home to of HRM's best restaurants Via the ferry or one of the city's two suspension bridges it is 10-minute ferry ride to Halifax's waterfront.

 

 

 

 

Bedford is north of Halifax's is a residential area with a busy commercial zone including boutiques, specialty stores, garden nurseries, restaurants & large malls.



Downtown Halifax is an important shipping center & the harbor is busy year-round. During the summer month luxury liners enjoy this popular tourist destination.

Most points of interest, dining & entertainment are within walking distance of major downtown hotels.
