Victoria's downtown area has been restored to original facades

short ferry ride from Vancouver & is a major tourism destination with more than

million visitors a year & is a cruise ship port. Downtown
Victoria is where many of the night clubs, theatres, restaurants & pubs are
loacated.

London Wax Museum, Victoria
Bug Zoo, Market
Square & the Pacific

Hill Park is the central city's main urban green space & includes playing fields, gardens, exotic species of plants, a
petting zoo & views of the Olympic
mountain range.

North of the city is
Butchart
Gardens as well
as the Dominion
Astrophysical Observatory, Victoria
Butterfly Gardens & Centre
of the Universe planetarium. There are also many
Historic Sites close to Victoria including the Fisgard
Lighthouse, Hatley
Castle & Fort
Rodd Hill, which is a coastal artillery fort built in the late 1890s.
